Inland Aggregates is currently looking for a responsible, safe, and dependable Temporary Scale Operator to join our local team. As a Scale Operator you will greet our customer and provide direction on product location, yard policies, generate accurate point-of-sale information and liaise with the depot management team on inventory and customer issues.
Temporary position until November 1, 2020.

What You Will Get to Do:
Generate scale tickets for loaded vehicles in accordance with established policy
Enter Purchase Orders, addresses, vehicle, customer, and other required information accurately
Prepare end of day reports, pre-authorize credit cards and balance debit/credit purchases
Notify customers coming into the yard of safety hazards or yard policies where applicable
Communicate general product descriptions, availability, and location to customers upon request
Liaise with yard crews, supervision and management when necessary regarding any Yard, Inventory or Customer concerns
Notify Dispatch of material unavailability or any issues regarding orders
Answer phones and offer assistance to drop-in customers
Other duties as assigned
Who We Are Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 yr. degree preferred
Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office
Solid organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and flexibility to adapt to changing business situations
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to work extended hours and irregular schedules
Availability for day and night shifts
Ability to sit for long periods of time, stand and lift boxes occasionally
Must have own transportation
