HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO
Are you looking for a long term position with a stable company? Lehigh Hanson is seeking a qualified Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will interact with customers along with many of our locations while providing support to the plant operation.
Receive and Process customer orders and requests. Entry of customer and job information into data base.
Communicate shipment and sales information to Specialty Products Manager.
Maintain and execute SAP procedures in support of Specialty products.
Perform administrative tasks in support of plant manager including HR forms and support documents.
Create and process Requests for Quotes and purchase orders in SAP.
Code and execute approved payables in SAP.
Work with Plant Manager to reconcile disputed payments with vendors.
Interface with sales department on price quotations and assist in distribution of marketing material.
Maintain solid communication with customer base and support sales in developing solid relationships.
Execute month end procedures to close out plant shipments and sales data.
Schedule trucking arrangements where necessary with carriers for specific customers and projects.
Team player that will work with other locations within Lehigh Hanson regarding gray, white, and specialty products.
This position will reside in Sparta, NJ
HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Minimum High School diploma required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
5 years of experience in customer relations role.
Solid computer skills including MS Office, SAP, and Web based communication.
Willingness to develop opportunities using social media to expand business through these methods.
Proven communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
Willingness to work in an environment requiring non-negotiable safety rules and potentially dusty environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
Ensures compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures
