Reporting to the Vice President, Cement Sales, this position is responsible for managing the sales and marketing of cement and fly ash products in Washington state. The successful candidate will provide leadership for promotion, customer service and technical support for Washington area construction utilizing cement based products.


  • Develop and execute sales and marketing plans, programs, budgets and strategies in alignment with overall objectives

  • Provide technical assistance to customers

  • Compile market intelligence and identify potential projects

  • Review and recommend product pricing, market placement and new product launches

  • Analyze market trends and segment data to maximize market opportunities

  • Maintain involvement in industry associations as a company representative and deliver effective presentations to various stakeholders

  • Target and acquire new accounts by calling on various customers in that geographic area

  • Strengthen and grow existing customer relationships

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferable in the area of business or engineering, combined with a strong sales acumen

  • Strategic planning, customer service, distribution, general construction and oil field knowledge

  • Technical knowledge of cement products is an asset

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software and SAP

  • Strong presentation, negotiation and networking skills
