Lehigh Hanson is seeking a Weighmaster/Scalehouse Operator/Admin.
This position assists and provides guidance to customers at service window, offers product information, prints tickets for customers and deliveries, answers phones, takes standard FOB orders, prepares sales reports, and performs general office duties.
This position is located in Santa Margarita, CA.

What you’ll get to do:
Operates the vehicle scale by performing the following:
Verifies job assignments previously scheduled by the sales department or material dispatcher and attaches scheduled trucks to the appropriate order number
Notifies drivers of the product to be loaded as necessary
Weighs loaded trucks and prints customer tickets for signature
Directs trucks to the appropriate place in the plant yard to dump or pick up materials
Inputs material sales and delivery data via a computer terminal and keyboard
Maintains radio communication with loader operators, drivers and other plant personnel. Acts as the liaison between the drivers, dispatchers and load operators relaying pertinent information as needed for accurate and safe loading/unloading of materials.
Answers phones, promotes customer service, offers product information and pricing to drop-in
customers, provides initial safety instruction to visitors and customers
Collects CODs from drivers and FOB (Freight On Board) customers, then records information onto the COD forms according to plant procedures and policies.
Runs credit card sales by typing in required information into credit card machine, and records the information onto the COD report
Processes the courier bags daily for shipment to Regional or Area office
Runs end of day reports
Perform service related duties as needed including housekeeping in and around scale house
Perform other duties and assignments as required
Who we are looking for:
High School or equivalent education
Highly skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and company software programs
General Office Equipment
Office IT Equipment
Knowledge of plant functions: Production, process flow, mobile equipment, material piles, plant office locations
Current Driver’s License
Competent in reading, writing and verbal communications in English
