HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO
Lehigh Hanson is seeking a qualified Cement Terminal Dispatcher located in Port Everglades FL.
The Cement Terminal Dispatcher will work in a centralized dispatch environment, and will be responsible for managing the flow and schedule of cement orders in a multi-state area. This will include the logistics for shipping cement products by truck, rail and when required trans loading.
The dispatcher will be responsible for the dispatching needs of 7 cement terminals, auxiliary cement transfer loading sites, and the cement stage yard locations.

The efficient movement of trucks between assigned Terminals within a shipping area while effectively communicating with other dispatchers in order to meet the needs of an entire market area.
Maintaining the proper resources to manage customer demand.
Review orders in the system for proper product, travel times, correct order dares/times, and job or customer specific needs.
Communicates effectively with customers to provide up to date information in regard to the company’s ability to meet expected delivery times.
Communicate in an effective manner with all terminal, plant and operations personnel to ensure that the assigned shipping area has the proper resources, personnel, and trucks available to provide superior customer service.
The Dispatcher is a fully experienced individual who understands the value of planning and processes and takes a disciplined approach to execution.
Meeting customer demands through applied dispatching techniques that also fit within the guidelines of Federal Hours of Service Regulations.
Represent the company as our liaison between customers and operations personnel.
Handle all rail shipments & work with staging yards.
HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Five years of experience in a customer service or dispatch environment.
Ability to work fluctuating hours in accordance with customer needs.
Excellent communication skills.
Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
Excel, Outlook and Word experience.
Must be a multi tasker.
Must be able to answer heavy call volume.
Bilingual is a plus (Spanish).
