Does working with high voltage electricity in a heavy manufacturing setting spark your interest? Using your expertise as an Electrical Engineer is a challenging role that enables you to be a critical thinker while enabling the plant to produce a quality product each day. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and responsible for the electrical project planning, optimization, and support of overall performance of the Nazareth Operations.

  • Set and share Electrical Department long, medium and short terms goals and objectives in line with plant objectives

  • Manage the performance of the Electrical Department including effective use of the key performance indicators

  • Contribute to the achievement of production, quality, environment, reliability and utilization targets

  • Propose and plan together with MCC major operations (shutdown planning) and weekly maintenance of the equipment

  • Supervision and Control of Third Party companies performing electrical and automation works in the plant

  • Elaborate and analyze documents of electrical and automation equipment defects and failures and prepare actions to avoid them

  • Ensure strict compliance of maintenance operations with the Maintenance Model: follow-up inspection routes compliance, validate work requests (notifications) coming from field, ensure good level of planning for work orders, coordinate work orders scheduling with production and ensure good quality and safety of execution

  • Develop a condition based preventive maintenance culture on a day to day basis, finding solutions to reduce reactive maintenance (promotes cross functional Root Cause Analysis of incidents and drives implementation of solutions) as per HC maintenance approach documented in the HC Maintenance Handbook

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

This position will be based at Nazareth, PA.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or on the job experience to offset education is required.

  • Minimum 3-5 years professional experience in cement manufacturing or related field.

  • Solid understanding of reliability, raw mills, burning lines and cement mills.

  • Experience in use of SAP a plus.

  • Ability to make timely, critical decisions, often under conditions of uncertainty and stress

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills

  • Effective time management and leadership skills
