HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO

Are you looking for a long term position with a stable company? As a HR Professional, you will interact with managers and employees. This is an ideal job for someone with strong systems and problem-solving skills who likes to help others. Apply your newly acquired HR degree or expand your strong administrative skills into the HR arena for a fast-paced HR team.

This position will reside in Mitchell, IN.

Primary duties and responsibilities will be associated with talent acquisition. This person will assist with other HR duties as needed.

  • Work with hiring managers to understand business needs, requirements, and expectations of positions.

  • Source candidates using a variety of outlets, such as job postings and social media while effectively targeting the right kinds of candidates for the job. Creative new ways to source talent will be needed.

  • Screen, interview and assess candidates. This includes scheduling, coordinating pre-screening activities, drug testing and reference checking.

  • Assist with the hiring process. This includes ensuring paperwork is completed, onboarding to become fully integrated and coordinating orientations.

  • Provide various HR support to staff.

  • Perform general administrative duties associated to HR.

  • Knowledge and experience of HR platforms (Applicant Tracking and Time Keeping) such as Brass Ring, Kronos, and various vendor applications will be helpful.

HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2-3 years of Talent Acquisition and/or Human Resources experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred

  • Demonstrated use and knowledge of HR systems

  • Extensive experience and proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook

  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills

  • Must be self-motivated, fast-paced, able to work independently and multi-task, capable of seeing tasks through to completion on tight schedules

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people at all levels

  • Maintain the highest level of courtesy, professionalism, and organization
