The Reliability Supervisor role is based in Leeds, AL and reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.  

What you’ll get to do:

  1. Preventive/Predictive Maintenance (P/PdM)

a. Supervise the execution of the P/PdM plan;

b. Guarantee the acceptable adherence to the P/PdM plan and guarantee quality of its execution;

c. Collaborate for the optimization of the P/PdM plan suggesting frequencies/procedures/inspections/route changes;

d. Review all the executed P/PdM work orders (WO), analyze data and address the issues by opening WO requisition, providing more inspection/analysis, communicating with other supervisors/management for immediate action, etc;

e. Review all the executed P/PdM WO and record data as needed for trend analysis and long-term action planning;

f. Close P/PdM WOs as needed per SAP procedure

  1. Lubrication

a. Supervise the execution of the lubrication plan;

b. Guarantee the acceptable adherence to the lubrication plan and guarantee quality of its execution;

c. Collaborate for the optimization of the lubrication plan suggesting frequencies/procedures/inspections/route changes;

d. Review all the executed lubrication WO, analyze data and address the issues by opening WO requisition, providing more inspection/analysis, communicating with other supervisors/management for immediate action, etc.;

e. Manage the equipment oil list, keeping it updated and available for plant personnel;

f. Close lubrication WOs as needed per SAP procedure

  1. SAP

a. Open, change status, and technically complete (TECO) WOs as the process requires;

b. Open notifications, change status, complete and close repair WOs based on inspections as the process requires;

c. Support planner and other supervisors on defining correct part for any required WO and update bill of materials (BOMs) for every part purchased

  1. Vibration

a. Supervise the execution of the vibration analysis plan;

b. Guarantee the acceptable adherence to the vibration plan and guarantee quality of its execution;

c. Collaborate for the optimization of the vibration plan suggesting frequencies/procedures/inspections/route changes;

d. Review all the executive vibration WP, analyze data and address the issue by opening WO requisition, providing more inspection/analysis, communicating with other supervisors/management for immediate action, etc.;

e. Close vibration WOs as needed per SAP procedure

Essential Experience and Skills

• At least 5 years of mechanical repair and maintenance experience , including at least 3 years experience in reliability

• Prior experience working with heavy industrial machinery and equipment

• Demonstrated ability to lead others with or without direct authority

• Composure and maturity

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Prior supervisory experience

• Working knowledge of SAP

Work Environment

• Role operates in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions
