Lehigh Hanson is seeking a qualified Process Mechanical/Electrical Utilities Person . In this position you will install, maintain, and repair plant equipment in an industrial setting.

What you’ll get to do:
The tasks of this position applies to all the functions listed below associated with each task: housekeeping, PM duties, lubrication, minor repairs, and routing functions associated with:
Proficiency in mechanical repairs of plant equipment
Proficiency in electrical repair of plant equipment
Typical mechanical repairs could involve:
Rigging of loads of various materials and weight
Use of crane, fork lift, man lift and other similar mobile equipment
Use of hand tools such as grinders, drills, hydraulic presses, etc.
Typical electrical repairs could involve:
Use of megger, ohm meter and other electrical equipment
Repairs of measurement devices such as pressure transducers, thermocouples, and other similar devices
Troubleshooting of various electrical switches
Reset of electrical breakers
LOTOTO of plant equipment
Follows all safety policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment. Maintains an awareness of plant environmental standards. Takes corrective action to address minor problems or reports compliance issues to appropriate supervisor for resolution.

Two year vocational/technical diploma or certificate preferred.
Minimum two years mechanical and electrical experience required.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with employees of organization.
Ability to weld, cut, and basic fabrication from metals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
