The Services Data Analyst position is critical to building data and processes that will pave the way for our future purchasing model across North America. This role will be responsible for managing a full implementation of service purchasing to include building services data, implementing the SAP service Master, integrating Kronos time accounting system with SAP as well as eProcurement for services.

This role will be the key element that resides between the business and IT in order to develop a process that will enable Lehigh Hanson to leverage technology in order to more efficiently purchase services in a controlled manner. This will allow for better visibility into granular analysis of service hours and materials. Initial stages of this role will involve requirements gathering, data analysis, business process design, training development and delivery. These task will require tight integration with the purchasing team in order to structure service contracts in a manner that will enable more efficient. Future learnings from data analysis will be employed to leverage spend and improve efficiencies through possible automation and business model decisions (make vs. buy services?).

This position will reside at the corporate office in Irving, Texas. What You will get to Do:

  • Work with Business and STEP team to develop business processes

  • Document Processes in Process Design Documents

  • Develop business cases that will aid in guiding decisions and managing change

  • Perform data analysis to support adjustments to our purchasing approach

  • Work with Purchasing to shape service contracts that will enable success in technology driven processes

  • Work with process teams to discuss business rules for data creation

  • Apply Data quality governance for SAP master data through data coordination and integration to ensure efficient processes and consistent data flows to business and stakeholders

  • Focusing on Continuous improvement of Processes

  • Strict adherence to master data rules, procedures and governance

  • Creation of new SAP master data where applicable

  • Performs root-cause analysis on processes

  • Collaborates with the SAP support team in the creation and implementation of new or revised business Processes

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelors in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

  • Minimum of three years of experience in SAP

  • Strong knowledge of SAP ecosystem for P2P

  • Experience with Kronos

  • Expert Skills in MS Excel

  • Proficient in MS Access, Word, and Power Point

  • Sound Communication and Presentation skills

  • Ability to turn raw data into logical information for reporting

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • Must Function well in a team environment and be able to function productively within an ambiguous work environment

  • Ability to identify problems and issues and assist with reporting questions

  • Above average attention to details, concern for the correctness of work, and strong commitment to completing tasks on time
