Reporting to the Director IT Project Management Office, the SAP Project Manager will lead and support the SAP deployments across multiple business lines in North America working as part of the IT organization, and in conjunction with the SAP Project Team, Process Owners, and NAM Businesses. Plan and manage all activities related to the SAP deployments, bringing existing or new business functionality, business requirements and models into SAP processes end to end.

The SAP Project Manager position will focus on technical and non-technical related business units supporting the redesign of processes for business applications. This is a unique opportunity for you to begin your career with a proven leader in the cement and construction materials industry.

This position will be remote (during the current pandemic restrictions) with some time at Lehigh Hanson Corporate office in Irving Texas.

What you’ll get to do

• Develop detailed project plans and track progress throughout various stages of the SAP project lifecycle

• Measure project performance, report and escalate to management as needed

• Perform risk management to minimize project risks

• Create and maintain project documentation

• Build and manage relationships with the business and stakeholders

• Ensure on-time delivery, within scope and budget

• Ensure quality transition to the production support organization

Essential Experience and Skills

• Five years or more experience in a dynamic business environment managing large, sophisticated, multi-deployment SAP implementation projects and software development lifecycles

• Experience in building processes, process optimization, and project management specifically in SAP

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization

• Highly motivated individual with the ability to motivate others and work collaboratively in a team of business and technical professionals

• Previous SAP functional or technical experience

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Experience with SAP, Microsoft Project, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, HP ALM, Sharepoint.

• Industry recognized project management certification.

• Experience using project management methodologies.
