Lehigh Hanson is seeking four qualified Change Education Leads to support implementation of our new SAP system. These positions report to the Change Management Team Lead with primary responsibility for delivering effective education and training to people impacted by the implementation of SAP at Lehigh Hanson North America (“NAM”).

The Change Education Lead position will embed in specific project workstreams to understand and document the new solution from an end-user point of view. They will explain changes to current practice to impacted stakeholders, develop and deliver educational content, and lead hands-on end-user training on behalf of their workstream(s). They will need to be effective advocates for new processes and solutions with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience and specific knowledge of processes and ERP solutions in one or more of the following project work streams: Procure to Pay, Budget to Report, Produce to Stock, Order to Cash, Supply Chain Management, Plant Maintenance, Master Data Management. Experience in Lehigh Hanson or its related industries is also an asset. This position requires a strong background in advocating for new solutions, educating on new processes, and delivering hands-on training to end users. Successful candidates will have a precise and analytical mindset and the ability to rapidly understand and carefully document business processes, issues, and change impacts. They must be meticulous in developing materials and accurate in providing information to others. A proven track record successfully leading change education and training efforts on behalf of major system implementations is an important asset.

Responsibilities may require occasional after-hours work for implementations, post-production coordination and other project-driven events as needed. These positions will be based in Irving, Texas, but occasional travel to support deployments throughout the US and Canada will be also needed.

Here’s what you’ll get to do:

Participate in their workstream(s) project activities (Design, Testing, Training)

Understand the “to be” solution and how it will impact stakeholders

Define and document “to be” changes within their workstream

Analyze and integrate “to be” with “as is” data in Change Impact Log

Create Change Presentation slides to Educate stakeholders

Develop/update Process Education materials

Lead end-user transactional training material development

Deliver education and “hands on” training classes to support SAP deployment

Here’s what we are looking for:

5+ years’ experience, ideally related industries/SAP.

Precise and analytical mindset. Able to analyze and document business processes, issues, and impacts;

Meticulous in developing materials and providing information to others

Able to deliver effective advocacy, education, and training.

Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal, negotiation and organizational skills

Ability to effectively lead and motivate stakeholders and minimize resistance

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Ability to effectively communicate upwards via presentations, telephone, email, and in-person

Flexibility to adapt work style to environmental changes.

Demonstrated ability to follow project management methodology, plan and to implement projects on time and within budget

Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management to advocate on behalf of new process and technology solutions

Good understanding of industry business practices

Knowledge of cement, ready-mix, aggregates, and concrete products operations and the corresponding business processes is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
