Reporting to the Manager for IT Governance, the Enterprise Security and Business Continuity Manager will be a member of the IT Governance Team. The role is responsible for providing IT security leadership, technical consultation, security assessment, implementation, and providing audit support for all of enterprise IT application& infrastructure and its development within the Lehigh Hanson North America region. The position requires collaboration and alignment with international colleagues on security service best practices, development, and improvements. Both strong technical and interpersonal skills are required for the role

What you’ll get to do:
This role will work with other key leaders of the IT organization, and system developers to ensure proper technology risk considerations are addressed at each phase of the system development life cycle (SDLC) and provide proactive solutions to correct exposures or mitigate risk.
Interpret security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse environments (e.g. client server, distributed, mainframe, etc.) in designing solutions, recommending enhancements or defining mitigating controls to existing systems. The individual should demonstrate an understanding of application security and will exercise sound judgment within existing practices and policies.
Maintain responsibility for developing, maintaining and updating the business continuity plan to be used in the event of an unexpected outage that significantly impacts our end users ability to consume IT services through our normal channels. In partnership with the established IT disaster recovery team, the individual will be responsible for identifying solutions and vendors that can help us minimize disruption to the business and ensure ongoing operations are possible within established RTO guidelines.

Who we are looking for:
Determine application and infrastructure security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; conduct system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; study application architecture/platforms to identify potential integration issues.
Recommend security standards and ensure compliance through system audits, implementing compensating controls where appropriate.
Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard internal systems, networks and applications.
Report, investigate and resolve security incidents in conjunction with global security operations.
Recommend and implement changes to enhance systems security and prevent unauthorized access.
Create and maintain current security design, service, and process documentation.
Familiar with industry best practices, controls, and governance methodologies
Develop and maintain Business Continuity plan with key business stakeholders; Coordinate regular testing and alignment with business process owners and application
Facilitate regular testing and assignment of business continuity plans
Participate in the plan and design of security systems by evaluating and applying world class application security frameworks and technologies; develops security requirements for the SDLC, designs public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as software; adhering to industry standards.
Ensure processes associated with application security and cloud security of key systems are documented, maintained, and archived
