The Business Analyst role is based in Irving, TX and reports directly to the Director of Accounts Payable.
The Accounts Payable Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering data and creating daily, weekly, and monthly Accounts Payable KPI reporting, working closely with AP staff on daily reporting, daily statistics to monitor productivity and aiding on projects and process improvements.
What you’ll get to do
Gather and help to create transactional data focused reports; analyze data for trending and identify areas of further improvement.
Track measurements on key Accounts Payable processes (KPIs) and work with AP managers on additional productivity markers.
Develop and maintain critical daily, weekly and monthly reporting to assist AP with achieving productivity markers.
Create and maintain Dashboards for the Accounts Payable department.
Work with the AP SAP project lead on reporting to assist with transitional periods
Participate in continuous improvement efforts through data focused thinking; perform process assessments identifying opportunities and prioritization.
Work on short task assignments, as required, with SSC AP department to identify, report and document process defects and improvement opportunities.
Any other duties, as assigned.
Essential Experience and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Field required, with course work in math/statistics (desired).
Strong MS Office knowledge and expertise, specifically Excel, Access, Power Point and Word.
Demonstrated initiative, ownership & accountability a plus.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships throughout the organization.
Cement, Aggregates, Ready Mix Concrete industry experience a plus.
Knowledge of ERP systems and interfaces a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Critical thinking and strong analytical skills.

Math and statistics focus in undergraduate education
Previous Accounts Payable experience
Construction materials industry experience
