  • Responsible for management of the Fixed Asset, Corporate Support, and Lease Accounting teams within the Shared Service Center.

  • Oversee the financial and operational transaction processing in financial systems for business line operations.

  • Oversee the accurate and timely closing of financial systems on a monthly basis for area of responsibility.

  • Oversee the balance sheet reconciliation for area of responsibility on a monthly basis

  • Areas of responsibility include payroll liabilities (taxes and benefit), primary disbursement and depository bank accounts, lease accounting, and fixed assets for all US and Canada operations

  • Oversee filing of unclaimed property reports and payments for all legal entities

  • Oversee allocation of accruals and expenses distributed from corporate functional areas. (Premium insurance, bad debt accruals, insurance losses, etc.)

  • Responsible for development of overall SSC annual budget and SSC regional allocations

  • Responsible for M&A integration activities for areas of responsibility

  • Prepare and distribute reports and provide analysis/support as needed on a monthly basis

  • Respond to questions and issues and communicate responses to operations and other functional areas

  • Work closely with other functions within the SSC, Corporate, Region HQ, and local operations to administer standard business processes

  • Deliver results individually and as a key team member in a fast paced, high performance culture

  • Encourage and identify process improvement opportunities as it relates to the individual’s area of responsibility

  • Provide technical accounting advice on accounting matters

  • Manage a staff of 4 - 7 accountants

  • Complete ad hoc projects

This position will be based at our corporate office in Irving, Texas.   • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • CPA or CMA is preferable with solid understanding of GAAP and IFRS

  • Thorough understanding of the company’s ERP and reporting systems, preferable JDE and SAP

  • At least 8-10 years of progressive, related experience in accounting or finance

  • Strong supervisory and interpersonal skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Critical thinking and strong analytical skills

  • Solid project management and administrative skills

  • Proven track record in managing people, meeting deadlines, and working collaboratively as part of a team are essential
