Lehigh Hanson is seeking a Sales Representative. Reporting to the VP/GM Central Valley Area, this position will be responsible for marketing, selling and technical assistance for aggregates within the Central Valley area market while focusing on growing existing and prospective customers to increase market share and improving profit margins.

What you’ll get to do:

  • Marketing and selling aggregate products within the Central Valley market.

  • Work with truckers to ensure timely delivery of construction aggregates.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

  • Reviewing bid documents and specifications and preparing bid packages and quotes.

  • Targeting and acquiring new accounts and maintaining existing accounts by strengthening customer relationships.

  • Working with customers and credit function to optimize accounts receivable.

  • Participating in business-line forecasts, budgeting and planning strategies.

  • Ensuring compliance requirements are met through organizational and procedural measures including implementation of Group guidelines, performing training, monitoring compliance etc

Who we are looking for:

  • 3-5 years sales experience in the construction-materials industry preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • History of establishing goals, measuring and achieving results

  • Strong ability to take initiative in sales process
