Lehigh Hanson is seeking a qualified Loader Operator for our Fresno, CA Cement Terminal .
The Utility Operator (UO) will be responsible for loading customer's trucks and unloading railcars including the handling of Bills of Lading and input of data into Cement Management System. The UO will also conduct silo measurements for inventory purposes. The UO will assists with general plant maintenance and clean-up activities as directed by the Terminal Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities
The ability to safely and efficiently load bulk trucks
Safely operate equipment to move, load and unload rail cars
Stand for long periods of time and climb flights of stairs
Good people skills and must be able to multi-task
Be able to operate a forklift and railcar mover
Understand and demonstrate basic computer skills
Understand and demonstrate use of the load out and reclaim system
Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping duties
Proactive approach to safety
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental legislation, regulations, and company policies and procedures. Report any unsafe condition, accidents or incidents to supervisor immediately.
Maintain work areas in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
Work with plant management to identify problems and potential problems that need to be adressed.
Perform plant inspections and complete inspection documentation.
May be required to work some Saturdays.
Regular and on-time attendance.
Perform other duties and assignments as assigned or required
Able to work the early shift (3 a.m. or earlier as needed by our customer's schedules)

Be able to read, write, and speak English
High school diploma preferred
Bilingual a plus
Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors.
Must wear protective equipment while at the location.
Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree.
Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment.
Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls.
