The Talent Advisor will partner closely with hiring teams to attract, source and assess top talent for a variety of positions. You will also execute a strategic recruiting plan and provide an engaging and positive experience for hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle. This position will be for a minimum 18 month Maternity Leave replacement and will reside in Edmonton, AB.
What you’ll get to do:
•Develop strong relationships with business stakeholders, understand their functions and key business goals, and proactively partner to determine current and future talent requirements.
•Manage the end-to-end recruiting process in the identification and assessment of internal and external talent using creative and proactive methods.
•Develop sourcing strategy for each vacancy and execute against that strategy.
•Partner with Human Resources and Hiring Managers to drive the recruitment process by setting expectations and maintaining consistent internal and external communication.
•Develop strong understanding of the Lehigh Hanson business, competitive landscape and overall strategy to increase business partnership & recruiting effectiveness.
•Attend job fairs, campus recruiting, and other networking events to develop & maintain a strong external network to create partnerships that yield a pipeline of key talent for current and future hiring needs.
•Leverage the use of our ATS and other talent acquisition tools and platforms, including social media, employee referral programs, lead generation sources, professional associations, conferences, and events.
•Assist hiring managers in writing accurate and effective job postings.
•Consult with hiring managers to help them make optimal hiring decisions.
•Manage third party relationships to ensure appropriate service levels are being delivered and agreed terms are being followed.
Who we are looking for:
•Bachelor’s degree is required or equivalent experience.
•Full cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment is required. Experience recruiting within a staffing agency is preferred.
•Demonstrable track record of direct sourcing.
•Proven experience in using innovative and proactive sourcing methods to hire for niche areas and ‘hard to fill’ roles.
•Ability to influence, gain creditability, and build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
•Professional with excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
