HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO
The Sr. Logistics Manager position is responsible for the directing, coordinating all functions of the Aggregates, HMA, and RMC Central Dispatch departments. This position will ensure the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of products while maximizing transport synergies to customer job sites and will promote and maintain good customer relations. This position will report directly to the VP/GM.
Work safely and follow all federal and state laws and regulations as well as company and site specific policies
Work closely with RMC, HMA and Aggregate batching, quality control and operations departments
Responsible for analyzing, implementing policies to lower cost and increase revenue.
Manage inbound internal and external deliveries of raw materials
Monitor, educate and direct Central Dispatch personnel focusing on deliveries and customer service.
Monitor and provide training on various computer programs
Participate and represent company at business functions
Compile and provide various monthly reports budget information, financials, expenses and overall cost control within logistics department.
Maintain customer relationships via regular communications and visits to jobsites
Perform within the guidelines of federal, state and local regulatory agencies.
Other job duties as assigned.
This position will be based at Connellsville, PA.

Connellsville is a city in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, United States, 50 miles southeast of Pittsburgh on the Youghiogheny River, a tributary of the Monongahela River. It is part of the Pittsburgh Metro Area. Check out the "Coke Capitol of the World!" Located along the banks of the Youghiogheny River, you will enjoy history, art and the great outdoors in this charming town. During the French & Indian War, General Braddock crossed the Youghiogheny River at Stewart's Crossing in present day Connellsville. Buildings on the National Register of Historic Places abound, including the Carnegie Free Library and the Union Passenger Depot. The Great Allegheny Passage also runs through here so be prepared to bike, hike and check out the great rail-trail!
HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering or related degree preferred
4-5 years of job related experience in Dispatch preferred
Excellent communication and computer skills
Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
General knowledge of financials, budget and terminology of construction materials
Strong knowledge of operations, sales and quality control.
Previous Supervisory experience preferred
