We are looking for driven and motivated sales performer with a proven track record of bringing value to the customer by listening to their needs, being responsive and earning their trust daily. The role will be based in our Spy Hill Calgary Pipe operations and report directly to the Sales Manager.

Here’s what you’ll get to do

  • Support a strong team culture by engaging in team meetings that drive alignment and team success

  • Responsible for the marketing of our pipe and manhole products in the western region

  • Provide technical guidance to specifiers and customers

  • Maintain a strong digital presence to promote our products

  • Promote Inland and Ocean Pipe’s capabilities to the engineering and consulting community Promote Inland and Ocean Pipe’s commitment to Safety and Quality in the industry

  • Work in conjunction with CCPPA to promote concrete pipe and manholes

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key consulting engineers, technologists, associations, and contractors

  • Promote Inland and Ocean Pipe’s capabilities to specifiers and stakeholders through plant tours and product demonstrations

  • Pursue and develop opportunities to expand Inland and Ocean Pipe’s market influence through new product lines

  • Communicate post installation product compliance and performance criteria to customers and project owners

  • Provide technical design support and recommendations to design consultants and customers

  • Prepare and present technical design presentations

  • Prepare shop drawings as required using AutoCAD Create and coordinate production of sales and marketing materials

  • Represent Inland Pipe within the business community and industry associations

  • Assist the Sales Team with Forecasting and Pipeline information

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering with P.Eng. or CET designation

  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and networking skills

  • Strong track record of effective problem resolution and customer satisfaction

  • Working knowledge of governing design and specifications of the utility construction industry

  • Technical knowledge of concrete and precast drainage products is an asset

  • Strong computer skills – AutoCAD and engineering design software

  • Excellent oral and written communication, teamwork, decision making and interpersonal skills
