Sherman Concrete, a subsidiary of Lehigh Hanson, Inc, is seeking a qualified Mobile Equipment Mechanic to be based in Auburn, AL. This position will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of the Company's Ready Mix Truck fleet.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS:
Perform all levels of preventative maintenance and services on Ready Mix Concrete Truck fleet.
Continuously maintain/ repair equipment by completing inspections and PM requirements.
Service all heavy mobile equipment.
Assist in Performing mechanical diagnostics and trouble shooting
Able to work with little supervision.
Operate equipment to ensure all work is completed correctly.
Must log time to all assigned individual tasks and RO’s in TMT or other CMMS systems accurately.
Minimum of 5 years of experience (or formal technical training) mechanical troubleshooting and repair
Must have knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Must have knowledge of mechanical moving parts (chains, bearings and rollers)
Must be flexible to work occasional evenings or weekends to meet production requirements as needed.
